Stages and Tissues
For illumina sequencing, three embryos were sacrificed for total RNA extraction and sequenced separately.
The first two were processed as whole embryos, at 9 days post oviposition (dpo) and four days before estimated date of oviposition (-4 dpo). The third one at 30 dpo was dissected, and total RNA was separately extracted from the head, tail and liver.
